Recognized as the "Best Golf Resort in North America" and proudly holding the title of "New Mexico's Best Golf Hotel" by the esteemed World Golf Awards, Towa Golf Club was conceived through a collaboration between twenty-time PGA winner Hale Irwin and renowned golf course designer and landscape architect William Phillips.
Each hole on our Santa Fe golf courses thoughtfully incorporates the natural topography, unique rock formations, and indigenous vegetation, creating a seamless blend with the environment and offering superb separation between each hole. For instance, the final par 3 on the Boulder course dares golfers to conquer a thrilling 100-foot drop from tee to green!
Our 27 holes present a challenge for the discerning golfer, with a USGA slope of 136 and a USGA rating of 73.1 from the back tees. For those seeking a gentler game, the front tees offer a slope of 101 and a rating of 62.3, accommodating players of varying skills.
As you explore our greens, you'll find that our average green size measures a generous 6,500 sq. ft., slightly larger than the national average of 6,300 sq. ft. The Boulder Nine
Opened in 2001, this Phillips design measures 3,640 yards from the back tees. So named because of the amazing rock formations that frame it, also features the only island green in New Mexico
The Pinon Nine
Also opened in 2001, this is an Irwin-designed course measuring 3,615 yards. The first hole is a breath
taking, 631 yard, par 5.
The Valley Nine
The most recently completed course, Valley is an Irwin design opened in 2009. It measures 3,575 yards. Every hole from this stunning Santa Fe golf course has an unobstructed view of the Jemez Mountains.
Practice Facilities
with Indoor Simulator
Towa offers a practice facility featuring a driving range situated so players will never find the sun in their eyes. In addition to the all grass driving range, Towa offers two putting greens and a practice chipping green.

Dress Code
Traditional golf attire is required while visiting Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe. Suggested clothing apparel and accessories for men include polo-style shirts with collars, turtlenecks or mock turtleneck shirts, slacks or shorts, ankle-length or tube sock, baseball caps and belt. Women’s options include sleeveless blouses and knee-length skirts or athletic skort skirts. Bathing attire, gym shorts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, and other dress of similar nature are not appropriate. Metal spikes are prohibited.
