What to wear?
Clothing & Apparel for the River

Definitely want to wear the right clothes for adventures on the river. The weather in New Mexico changes quickly, so you want to be prepared and keep an eye on the weather forecast when planning your river adventure trip. Depending on the company you plan your trip with, some offer wet suits and clothing for your trip while some do not. Make sure to check with the company you choose and see what they offer to assist with your planning. Recommended clothing: Quick Dry shirts and shorts, and/or bathing suits, wetsuits, and shoes that can get wet and stay on your feet. No sandals. No cotton clothing as it soaks up water and takes a while to dry, plus you get colder. Bring lip balm. Waterproof sunscreen is also recommended.   Santa Fe offers a wide variety of Outdoor Clothing, Gear, and Apparel stores for you to get your gear and clothing for your river adventures.
