Golf Lab - Golf Simulation
As many of you have heard, a Golf Simulation unit has been installed in the Quail Run Clubhouse. The simulator gives owners, members, and guests a chance to work on their games throughout the year. The unit itself is a Bushnell Launch Pro powered by Foresight Golf. The launch monitor gives top-of-the-line analytics of each golf shot struck. Data includes club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, peak height, club path, carry distance, total distance, and deviation from the target path. These collected data points help us in club fitting and in teaching golfers. This is a wonderful tool if you’re looking to improve your game. The system can also be used to simulate play on 20 courses around the world. You can play Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, The Old Course at St. Andrews, Carnoustie, and Valderrama to name a few, all without a plane ticket! Come by and see the new addition.

Traditional golf attire is required while visiting Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe. Suggested clothing apparel and accessories for men include polo-style shirts with collars, turtlenecks or mock turtleneck shirts, slacks or shorts, ankle-length or tube sock, baseball caps and belt. Women’s options include sleeveless blouses and knee-length skirts or athletic skort skirts. Bathing attire, gym shorts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, and other dress of similar nature are not appropriate. Metal spikes are prohibited.
